26 - The County Fairby BudComment: Like a county fair, this is great, I like the wide view - pay to have the wheel spin, I see no Vanna, nor any prizes. What might one win? Did anyone win? |

Bee Bokehby QuigleyComment: This has become one of my favorites from this challenge. The soft glow of this lens is quite beautiful. The edit is excellent & the dominating bloom is beautiful, (voted this 6) but I also like it as an fine & rare use (at least on dpc) of this difficult, fixed aperture, unusual lens. I noticed the subtle circular bokeh, an interesting characteristic of a mirror lens, while voting, but at the time was not aware of how that could occur. My criticism would be that the crop is too tight, not enough bokeh shown. |

Urban sunset origby MelethiaComment: There is certainly room in this for camera aspect crop for the exceptional but awkwardly shaped b&w.
I actually like the full frame but here would be an alt crop attempt -

24.52 Urban sunsetby MelethiaComment: A studied & probably patient observation. A fortunate alignment of the birds and approaching figure, and all at the edge of a shadow - beautiful. |

Returnby xianartComment: I like this. Formal, centered, perfectly aligned & fairly rigid circles & lines composition; Tone is good, but your neutral density edit (especially evident since you have mentioned it) at the top may have altered or rather dulled some aspect of an expected bowling alley commercial interior lighting experience, and may pull in a negative way from the interesting, central return lane/line with noisy, rumbling, rolling, black, blurry balls. |
