Into the City by GatorguyComment: Taking night shots like this is hard. Other that the Light flares this is a nicely shot. The tilt is very minimal from the left to the right. Depth and subject gives the felling of a city that has gone to sleep until the next day when this road is well traveled. |

Disappearingby dahkotaComment: Slightly out of focus, the black and white adds to the misty feeling. The girl against the tree draws away from the subject. Perhaps just me, I would of sent her down the road to about the third tree on the right about center of the road, walking of into the mist. |

Fancy Gate -- Muddy Roadby rioloboComment: The lean in this kind of distracts from this well focused nice compositioned photo. Maybe step back back further from the gates and shoot from the right faceing down the road through the gates that could make a better view and allow the road to continue through. From this angle looks like the road ends at the gate and goes not further. Depth is good eveything fore and aft are well focused. Color is nice and crisp. |

Old Highway Fourby mpetersComment: Nice crisp, focus on the subject. camera did well on depth of field. The shutters on the barn could use some burning however, basic editting will not allow that. Greens and browns make this pop, Love the lighting and the balance of the overall shot. Nature sure does take back what we leave behind. |

rich n poorby sandeepsalwan45Comment: Good composition excellent layout, good subject, and color balance fits the challenge well. Do no get discouraged the cannon A 400 that you are using is capable of great shots. What it looks like happened, with this great shot was the resolution was set in the camera was on the low side and when you cropped photo it pixelated causing what you see here. Try shooting at 1600 x 1200 the upper range of your camera. This may mean less pictures on your memory card however, it will allow you to crop closer with out the pixelation. |

Multi-taskingby catnComment: Could this have been pulled in closer, too much space at the top. Subject well focused and good lighting. The cell always gets the attention. |

Busy making a livingby samanwarComment: Like the black and white, Cook should be more to the left of photo to much stuff behind him
Try cropping with edge of vertical to the pot handle. This will divide up the thirds better and isolate the subject.
