Very cute dog! He looks pretty smug in his outfit even though he got it a little dirty in the front. You have him framed nicely in the picture, however, the cooler and doorway in the background are a little distracting. The focus is perfect and shows nice detail. Picture might be a tad on the dark side. Some adjustment in post-process could brighten it up some. As far as the challenge goes, however, my definition on fauna is a little more than the family dog...no matter how cute he is.

This is a beautiful shot. The lighting is perfect and so is the focusl. I love the clouds in the backgound. You were very lucky. The colors are brilliant. If possible, it might have been nice to get up a little closer to the horse and be on the same level as he.

This is a very nice photo of your dog. He's a cutie... that's for sure. He looks very happy. You have him well focused and framed nicely in the picture. The lighting is perfect and even. As far as the challenge goes, I define fauna as more than the family pet. I'm afraid because of that, it will not do as well as it should.

Very nice action shot. I looks like they are having a lot of fun. The lake and the hills make a nice background. Although it appears to be an overcast day, the picture as a whole is a little on the dark side. Perhaps just a little adjustment in post-processing would brighten it up a little. As far as the challenge goes, I define fauna as being more than the domesticated family pet.

With the plain black background, this just doesn't look natural to me. Is she a live bird or stuffed? Other than that observation, this is a nicely taken photo. Shows great detail and color.

Very nice. Great DOF. I feel as if he could reach out of the picture and peck at me. I like the colors in the background. It complements the subject well. I love the expression on his face...like an old man gnawing on a toothpick after dinner. Good luck in the challenge. You should do real well.

I really like the composition of this photo, however the lighting and focus could be improved, in my opinion. I can hardly see the faces of the cows. It does meet the challenge. Good luck in the contest.

Great DOF on this photo. I am real impressed on how you got this cute lil' critter in such great focus. Great detail on his coat and markings on his back and head. I like the colors in the background...it complements well with the chipmunk. Other than maybe your photo being cropped a little close on the left where you cut off the ends of his whiskers, this picture is virtually perfect, in my opinion. Congrats! Very beautiful horse and I like how he is so color-corordinated. His harness matches the color of the fence posts. In addition to that, the photo is well focused and shows great detail.
