I like to see these unique subjects in the challege. This one...a well used merry go round...I really like the geometric feel to it. I also like the way in which you framed it, using the rule of thirds nicely. With the yellow and purple, it meets the challenge head on. I just wonder if you would have pushed the saturation a little more, if the colors would have popped out a little better. One of my favorites for the week. 9 Good luck in the challenge.

Fun photo! Nice stop action. Colors are vivid and well portrayed. I couldn't help but wonder what the contraption was on the flying boy's wrist. Is it helping him levitate? LOL

Hey, I have those pens too. The green and red caps make this picture meet challenge. The colors are vivid and well portrayed. However, the subject matter and composition is rather boring. You possibly could have used the pen caps arranged in a different way with a more interesting background to meet the challenge and the picture being more pleasing to the eye.

Nice and unique take on the challenge. Seems as if the contrast could be boosted just a tad to bring the colors out just a little more. Great idea and great set-up. It had to have taken you quite awhile to set this up. 8 Good luck in the challenge.

Very unique set up and composition. The green and red colors are vivid and do well to meet the challenge. Green lipstick seems to be a little bit of a turn-off, but the symbolism is too stronge to ignore. Great Job 10...one of my favorites. Good luck in the challenge.

The shot as a whole seems a bit dark and the colors came out a bit dull. You did do a good job of portraying the texture of the tomato stem.

Well, this would be bad news to those who are color blind. Very interesting take on the challenge. My only thought would be to crop out the top part of the picture or at least have shot it a little higher to get in the words that were chopped off. 5 Good luck in the challenge.

Strawberry Fields........Forever?

In my opinion, I think this picutre would have been more effective for the challenge had it been shot closer onto the strawberries. My eyes immediately went to the woman and her interesting array of clothing. From baby Mickey Mouse to plaid to paisley...LOL Sorry, but the complementry colors (red & green) of the strawberries and field are lost and forgotten. I do like the photo as a whole, though. Although hazy, the neighborhood with the mountains in the background provide a nice backdrop to the strawberry field. 7

The blue refection in the windows of an orange colored building is a great use of the challenge. The windows have a nice shape and makes the photo interesting. The only drawback is the washed out sky in the photo. In my opinion, I believe that it would have been better to crop out the sky portion more to fill the picture with the vivid colors of the building. 7
