Sweet Smothered Candy Appleby RickHComment: You get a point of interest for having a picture without an apple actually visible where the apple is sufficiently implied that there's no question it meets the challenge. Interesting textures, and you're making me crave sweets. Picture isn't quite as sharp as I would have liked, but is (barely) passable.

Ducking Applesby FalcComment: Wow. Just... wow. How long did it take you to do this? The slightly lighter reflective surface they sit on actually does look something like a smooth pond at night, and the effect is both peaceful and amusing.

Green with Envyby AllyrelliaComment: The cherries as children was cute, and made me smile, but the scene seems slightly out of focus, and the reflections are a little harsh. I also have a personal thing against bright white backgrounds, since they hurt my eyes. Other voters don't seem to have a problem with it, but I score down slightly shots that hurt me.

Road Appleby taterbugComment: Colors are very strange and unrealistic on this, and the focus seems off. The basic concept of a road stretching off into the distance has scored highly here before, but holds little intrinsic interest for me, personally. The red building in the background is distracting.

Would you like an Apple little girl?by TheStickComment: Colors are interesting, and the title makes the shot, turning it from an odd, vaguely interesting scene into something darkly disturbing. The reflected flash is harsh and seems blown (try bounce flash or a diffuser?)

Free Sample for a Favored Customerby beamsclanComment: Reflection on the apple itself is harsh (try a polarizer? that looks like daylight reflection, not flash), and the face seems slightly soft (try one stop smaller aperture), but the expression and story make up for it. Background is interesting without being distracting.

Behind Every Great Orange . . .by karmatComment: With the thin orange slices, you missed a "grate" pun, that would have gotten you a bonus point from me, and probably negative points from everyone else. :)
Good use of basic colors, and the angle, which frequently bothers me in other shots, works well here. Reflections mar the scene somewhat (try a polarizer?).

An apple a day keeps the doctor (and evidently computer viruses) away!by RiderGalComment: Interesting arrangement and lighting. I'm very curious to find out how you got an apple logo where it is, particularly transparent, flat, and upside down relative to the wineglass (a stained glass decoration, selectively desaturated?). A technical perfection bonus is marred by the harsh reflected light on the apple (very difficult to avoid, though).
