This is really cool Kate...I didn't vote or even really look at many of the "obsolete" entries...I came across one entry that turned my stomach a bit and ran the other way...anyway...love the B & W and the grain...grain is good, grain is tasty. I keep asking myself...how would have some of these people coped with film, you know what I mean?...the face too, and that nasty crack...all together they conjure up a somewhat sinister mood...I like a bit of sinister, maybe because I'm left handed perhaps? It's the eye...that eye is what puts this image over the edge...

Smoke smoke smoke and more smoke...seems that the smoke is really the key factor of this image...I do like the composition though, an interesting crop.

Love it, excellent light and texture, I can almost taste it...and we all thought the moon was made of cheese...and just one more little thing, THANK YOU for using the full 640 pixel dimension, I really wish everyone would...I could actually sit back in my chair to look at this...this was truly a sight for sore eyes. : }

This is really nice... it's a really fun image to look at and try to figure out which way the photographer was looking, I 'm guessing up?...I just wish the edges of the "circle" wer not cropped out...great mysterious lighting.

This I think is the coolest bubble picture I have seen on DPC...this is awesome...the color are rich and deep and I also like the fact that the image sems a little grainy...those highlights at the bottom right of each bubble are perfection and really add to the depth...just really nicely done.

This is just really great...beautiful B & W tonality...this would not have been the same in color...I can just imagine the garish pink....ewwwwww...a very pleasing and fun image.

I couldn't comment on this last night becuae I was a bit speechless at the moment...I think my brain had somewhat shut down after so many un circle images..and then I happened upon this image and saw that there was hope, and I was happy. The light is gorgeous and the clarity quite nice...the tonality is delicious...superb...very nicely done...I hope this will do well.
