Intriguing shot. Unusual for me (for where I am) to see palm trees and manicured lawns next to abandoned buildings. Wish the house was in a little better focus. Also would like to see a different crop with more building and maybe a hair less mountain above it. I do like the angle, the lighting, and the colors.

I like the concept of shooting the building through the tree. However, I don't think _this_ tree was a particularly good choice. Had it not had quite so many little tiny branches to clutter up the foreground it would have been much better. I do like that the building itself is very clear, and I like the colors in this one.

It's very distracting, almost disturbing to have such a large, unfocused, and (from the title) important part of a photo be so out of focus. I likt the texture that I can see in the boards, but I wish I could see more of it...
