Bleeding Heartby JewellianComment: Flower ID - Bleeding Hearts.
No, really. That's what they're called.
Nice texture, btw. The crop feels a little off, though. Do ya have a shot that's not so tight? |

Blue-Flower.jpgby artvetComment: I like this shot. The colors jump out at you, but not in an annoying way. The noise adds depth to it. The composition is nice. The border is a little overwhelming, though; I think a thinner border might not be so 'in your face', but it's not something that is hugely 'wrong' - it's just a personal preference. |

Sabrina at the Windowby lagavulinComment: The pose on this one looks a little forced - the left arm looks to be hanging a wee bit unnatually. More of a bend would have helped, perhaps with her hand on the fron of her hip or across her belly. The lighting on this is absolutely without a doubt gorgeous, and I love that she appears to be 'doing' instead of just 'posing'. |

And She Loves ME!by toddheadComment: I love this! The pose is casual and relaxed, the lighting is just perfect, and I can tell that she's very happy. Very nice job. |

Wild Geraniumby JewellianComment: ID per your request.
Wild Geranium.
Geranium maculatum.
AKA Spotted Cranesbill.
I'm 98% sure on the ID on this one. If I could see more of the leaf it would help.
Leaf for the wild geranium : Leaves: 4-5" (10-12.5 cm) wide; gray-green, cut into deeply toothed lobes, the basal leaves long-stalked.
Sound familiar?
Hope this helps...

Large-flowered Trilliumby JewellianComment: ID per your request.
Large-flowered Trillium.
Trillium grandiflorum.
Also known as Large-flower Wakerobin.
Y'know, I'd like this one better if the petals weren't so chewed up by the weather.

The Town Steepleby TommyMoe21Comment: The lighting around the cross is exquisite. I think I would prefer a different crop for this pic, though. The dark clouds and trees on the right give the pic an unbalanced feel. Perhaps a crop with just the church and spire would give this a cleaner 'feel', but hta's just my opinion. |
