I see the point of the photo, especially as it relates to the title, I'm *not* sure I see the point of desaturating everything but the glass. Granted, I don't know what would have made any more sense as regards desat for this photo, but perhaps that indicates that this might not have been the best of choices for selective desat. Not trying to offend, just offering an opinion.

Quiet in the City

I thought at first that I didn't care for this, and that the title made little sense. However, the longer I looked, the more it made sense, and the better I liked it. The little pocket of peace under the trees doesn't reach out and 'wow', but it certainly makes the picture. The only nit-picky thing I can say is that the horizon seems very slightly off (a degree, maybe two) in the verticality of the buildings. 8.

Beautiful treatment of an all-too-common pest, um, weed, um, that is, ... flower. :) Lovely texture to the petals and very realistic color. This would have been all-too-easy to oversaturate. Good job.
