Bondby TranquilComment: This could be a very nice portrait. Would like to see both of her eyes in focus. Perhaps a touch of gaussian blur to even out skin texture ( and no I'm not talking about messing with the freckles!) or perhaps a light layer of makeup. Otherwise this is beautiful - good lighting, wonderful composition, very nice expression. I lik ethe choice of B&W for this, but I think a color version would also have done well. |

Circle in Natureby aukipaComment: Very nice shot. Beautiful colors and lighting. Good choice of background color - sets off the pink very nicely. Very nice composition. |

The Only Circle With an Endby SeaSailComment: While this is not a subject that I typically like to see, your treatment of it is quite good. The lighting perfectly fits the subject and mood. The composition is excellent. |

Reaching for the discby ourwebstopComment: This is a photo I think could benefit from a wider angle. It's nice to see the detail in the fur and whiskers, but the action could be better portrayed by pulling back a little and showing us the whole dog. |

Sun-Kissed Peachby AllyrelliaComment: Looks a bit overexposed - all your highlights are really blown. Otherwise very nice, especially the texture in the peach fuzz. |

Summer Sparklersby kaedemoon267Comment: I would love to be able to SEE what this is a picture of! I like the lines that I can see, but this is just too small to make out any detail, or even to really tell if it meets the challenge. |

Lonely Strawberryby rjpatComment: This photo could have been an 8. The lighting is great, the composition very nice, the colors excellent. What brings the score down for me is your subject. The obvious care which you employed in setting up the shot seems to be discarded by using less than perfect fruit. Neither your title nor your set-up implies that you are emphasizing the imperfections in the fruit. Instead, it gives the impression of being hastily chosen, which feels incongruous with the rest of the setup. Bearing in mind that this is only my interpretation, I'm giving this a 6. |
