I really like the lighting in this photo. How excellently timed to have the subject walking through at just the right moment! I love the shadows of the buildings and the feel that these give to the picture. Great job!

The subject of this photo takes up a large area of the shot, which is contrary to the guidelines of the challenge. I do like the texture of the photo, including the background. And I like the look of the old tool, I think it makes an interesting subject.

I like the colors in this photo and I like the choice of subject. The only thing holding it back a bit for me is that the subject is blurry and out of focus....hard to do with such a long shot, I know.

I think that this shot MAY have come off better in color. It's hard for me to judge that, cause it could have been a cloudy icky day :-) But when I look at it I can see all of the color potential, and so the black and white seems to leave something to be desired.

It seems to me as though the tulips are slightly out of focus....I think they could be a little sharper. I do like the placement of the flowers in the shot, well done.

I had to look at this one twice. My initial instinct was that your subject takes up the entirety of the photo, which goes against the challenge guidelines. But then I looked again and thought that perhaps the "subject" was the body of the peacock, rather than the feathers as well. You have a decent focus on the peacock, but I think that it might be hard for some people to know if you intend the body as the subject or the entirety of the bird.

I like the shillouette of the sailboat on the water. However, I think that a little tighter view of the boat might give us some more detail, but would still fit within the parameters of the challenge.
