This picture looks like it might have been sharpened a bit too much. It may be the ISO too. It's a nice bright picture with pretty good colors. I don't know if you would've been better off making it sepia or black and white to sort of set the mood better. Its a good idea when trying to convey that sense of pioneers or something similar to the viewers. Just a post-voting thought - Inspzil

This is an outstanding idea. Putting this idea into a picture, well it wasn't executed as well as I think it could have. It's sort of generally fuzzy. It's not horizontally lined up, nor way off as is sometimes done on purpose. I think it really had the potential to be a great shot. This is a great sonogram pic!! Unfortunately, the pic of the sonogram pic is not very good. They do not photograph well typically and this one is no exception. Very touching and sentimental, but not in this light. Good luck with the baby - Inspzil
