Floralby MelethiaComment: Very Nice!
I think this would be "ordinary" as a normal shot; the Lensbaby effect makes it very dynamic.

Local Call (Color)by GermaineComment: I found it a lot easier to tell what was going on in the color version. My first impression of the b&w was that there was another person with her(?) arm around the neck of the guy.
I like the closer crop and the circular flow around the guy in the color version.

IMG_9748_1-copyby skewsmeComment: Lovely. I get lots of very positive feelings from this image.
The Lensbaby effect does wonders for floral images. We've seen several in this thread that have much more emotional impact than they would as sharp "normal" images.

Autumnby RetroesqueComment: Yes, the color certainly adds to this image. I see late summer in the brightness at the top. The flow goes towards the rich browns of late autumn at the near end of the bench.

morning bellby bspurgeonComment: I love the light streaming down from above.
What was the exposure on this? I would have thought that it would be hard to hold a Muse steady enough for the long exposures required for a pinhole shot or even a zone plate.

Renovators Dreamby RetroesqueComment: This is what our real estate agents would call a "Handyman's Special." You've really captured the feeling of decay. You've given me an idea--I ought to go down into our basement and give it the Lensbaby treatment.

No Handsby GermaineComment: SB must have more of those old bicycles than we have around here. More arches too.
I love the way the sweet spot highlights the bicycle and the riders bare (or sandaled?) feet. |

Rural Justiceby crowisComment: I wonder which Franklin County this is. Both my brother and my sister live in Franklin County, my brother in Maine and my sister in Ohio. I'm pretty sure this is not Ohio, and it is probably not Maine. It's a nice capture of a typical rural American County Courthouse. |

Mirrorless Mirroring!by grgkopanasComment: It is amazing to me that no one has commented on this amazing photograph! I love the tilt of the head and the direction of the eyes in the reflection. The hand is just right.
