Nearly Redundantby Shy ClickerComment: An interesting photo, and looks good in sepiatone. I would have cropped the left of the photo to remove the people and car. I don't think it adds to the photo, and it takes away the nostalgic look I think you were going for. |

Union Terminalby sibelingComment: I think this shot is trying to show too much to be very interesting. It's obviously still a busy trainyard, but there is nothing specific to focus on. The sky seems to wash out the upper portion of the hills as well which distracts from the overall contrast. |

Study in Old Schoolby heathenComment: Hey, this photo is dark and grainy! But you already knew that.... An interesting shot, and I'm not sure what would improve it. From my perspective, the engine, or car to the left looks "pixelated". If there was a way to get more clarity of the train, without losing the motion blur I would have bumped it up. Good job. |

The Hobo Routeby CamComment: An interesting bridge and a nice centered composition. I don't hold to that everything must use the "rule of thirds" mantra. This image looks great centered. I like the contrasting colors and the sharpness of the image. My one "nitpick", with all of the symetry going on, it's a shame the bottom tie was tilted. If you had cropped the roadbed out of the bottom, it might have masked that a bit more. Overall, a good photo. |

"...and I can help with the driving, and..."by cogeroxComment: Don't we all wish it were that easy to get a ride in the engine. I like this image, great DOF, good expression, and funny. I wonder if it would have had a bit more impact if the engine were a bit closer. Good job! |

Familiar Greetings by QartComment: Nice photo. I like the use of light and shadows here as well as the vanishing point of the rails. |

Gratuitous Kid Shotby timfythetooComment: I really liked this shot. My kid isn't into trains, but what a great costume. I think if you had changed the perspective point so that he was farther away and centered in the track, we would have imagined Thomas puffing down the rails. I may have bumped it up a point or two but you got a good score none the less. Good job. |

The Shiningby NunniComment: I'm giving you extra points just because you still have a working typewriter! Nice image, really brings back the movie to me. I love the DOF in this photo. |

SAW by Joey LawrenceComment: What some people will do to win a ribbon! ;) Not a horror fan, but this is as gruesome as the previews. Nice job. |
