Tacks and Taxesby NathanWertComment: Wow. You still have all those? I can't even find last years! Unfortunately, your image contains no tacks. Taxes and pins, but no tacks. ;) Focus and POV right on. Color perfectly balanced. 8 for correct usage of a tack. or 8 tacks. |

Church of Tacksby ChinabunComment: There are no tacks in this image. ;) Very creative use of a rather mundane everyday thing. The color and clarity work well. I am left felling a little sad for the tack whose head you ripped off but some must give their lives for a greater cause. 8 for originality. |

At-Tacksby Mr_PantsComment: Unfortunately, there are no tacks in this image. ;) The white is very white - blindingly white. But I really like the effort you put into having your image mean something. It like a rebus from when I was a kid. 7 for originality. |

Oopsby ArcyComment: Ouch! But there is no tack in this image. ;) The redness of the tack speaks of the pain and anguish to come. The motion blur of the foot lets me know it is unsuspecting and the moment is eminient. The question is, does he do it? Does he step on the tack? Does he scream? I can't stand the anticipation so I have to go on to the next image. 8 for the tension created. |

Stranger in a Strange Landby shutterphunkComment: Wow. This is highly amusing! Anthropomorphizing tacks. Unfortunately there are no tacks in this image. ;) I like this. It speaks to me of the human condition and what we must endure. And its a pretty good picture. 8 because I like it. |
