Safe Behind the Fenceby MaryOComment: I think this works for the challenge. I can't really say I'm really interested beyond that (not very compelling). I wish there had been a slight curves adjustment to balance the lights and darks a little better. 6 |

IIby zeuszenComment: I think, if this had more variance in tone, I might like it better. Right now, the shapes provide nothing really. Looks like it could be interesting with just more variation or a hue or two. 6 |

See ya!by rrdjservComment: Like the action in this image but I think the background really detracts. Its overly stark, overly white, and the whole image feels overexposed because of it. 6 |

Come Along Than!by CraftyComment: Hmmm. I think this image could be improved by a change in point of view - instead of standing over the chickens, you could crouch down to their level. then they would be backgrounded by the much more interesting tall grass, rather than the brown grass and cuttings. |

Alone in a Crowdby Five_SeatComment: title makes me look for that which is alone. Not finding it - everything is the same. Since I can see no part of the photographer, I can't believe he/she is the subject. Interesting study, maybe in a series, maybe better in black and white, but not very effective standing on its own. 5 |

Paparazzi Error 101by glad2badadComment: the subject is mostly out of focus. but I don't see anything compelling about it - the missed focus does not enhance the image in any way. The subject itself is centered, drawing my attention (I give you credit for that) but it doesn't provide any interest or tension to keep me engaged. The spiderweb at the bottom is more interesting, and I wonder where the spider went. 5 |

When In Doubt, Give 'Em The Birdby GeneralEComment: Way too much going on to pay attention to the bird. It doesn't seem to matter that it is out of focus. It is also very centered with colors that seem lazy. 5 for attempt. |

Figment of Imaginationby Carlo21Comment: I think your tones are good, but your blacks and whites are not that strong. I rely on that because the subject itself gives me nothing to go on. 5 |

nightridersby cutoutComment: I like the lights and the darks but I really don't get any kind of mood or emotion out of this image which it seems to require as it is not really about a thing. Could be interesting if it wasn't so split in half. 5 for attempt. |

The Summer's Gone, the Roses All Are Dyingby raishComment: I think, if the girls had NOT been at the rule of thirds line, you would have a much better chance of convincing people your intention was to photograph the rose. There is also too much else in focus to pull this off. 5 for attempting challenge. |
