Think Light on White? I like this image - a lot, actually, but it has all the blue tones I gave up in MY favorite shots just to meet the Challenge definitions.

The bits of ice crystals, the shadow -which almost looks as though the stem made its way slowly through the powdery landscape, and the utter simplicity of this one is wonderful. Don't cut, don't crop, don't mess with it.

Sequential downloading is a spot reducer for my votes. I watch eagerly as an image slowly unfolds itself to me. Near perfection - a 9 or a 10? Then something annoying appears, which jars the soul - no more 9 or 10! In this case, I would crop away the entire bottom quarter. Losing the lowest petal makes this image more powerful.
