Reel Mowerby JeremyFleuryComment: This is a rare case when selective desaturation really added something. I would have liked it much more if the reddish whatsit to the left of the reel mower were out of the photo. |

Demolitionby burtctComment: Hmm. the piles of materials and the trailer suggest a construction site. We know that computer software is sometimes obsolete when it enters the marketplace, but I'm not sure the same can be said for apartments... |

"Out to pasture"by RussComment: I like the glowing nature of the photo. I would have been tempted to shoot it with the axis on more of a diagonal. I'd also remove the single blade of grass dividing the photo in two or at least I'd wished I had when I got home. |

first light by whiteroomComment: Congrats. Great shot!
The grass fire is not a phenomenon stateside. You see the world differently once you've spent a couple hours beating the flames out at its periphery to save the compound - something I did once or twice as a child. This really captures the sense of threat posed by natural forces on our lives. Isolation from which somehow makes the world seem a little less real, a little less interesting, a little less alive. Thanks. |

The World Is Not Enough!by doctabrezComment: I wish the sun, the person and the center of the photo were not all quite so close together. I'd have cropped just a little to the right of the sun. |

Modern Culinary Masterpieceby glodaComment: Thank goodness nouveau cuisine is dead and gone and we don't have to imagine going to a 'nice restaurant' and being served precisely this. |
