Bayer Nebulaby pointandshootComment: haha i got a good laugh out of reading the comments made during voting! :D
i think the purple circles are actually also hot pixels from the sensor overheating during the long exposure. i got those on a few long exposure shots on my D50, except they were blurred because i shot at an open aperture. but with your f-stop at 250ish the hot pixels are clearly visible as such. definately not a light leak.
great shot! ;)
eta: i think you should also get a price for "sharpest pinhole shot evah"! lol Message edited by author 2009-01-09 10:24:03. |

The complexionby HighNoonerComment: i'd love to see more than just his face. his surroundings, his hands, an expression, his personality, a certain motion.
imo you framed this to tight (or cropped in too tight in pp) and thus took him out of context.
he sure looks like he has a lot of stories to tell, though.
eta: this comments pretty much summs up my thoughts:

Koi Pondby lovethelightComment: wonderful shot! i love how she seems to have become one of them, telling by her body language anyways.
i wondered if you didn't get into trouble with the local authorities until i read it's actually your pond.
and i hope no koi's were harmed or killed in the making of this shot, i heard these guys are rather expensive to refund...;) |

The Old Song Man by SandyPComment: strange why nobody has mentioned this and wondered why he has ear phones? i mean a homeless guy with an mp3 player and ear phones? not that i doubt the fact that he's homeless, just think it's kinda weird...lol
awesome portrait anyways, and that outtake sure is a stunner, too! congrats! |

IMG_9638.jpgby BradComment: particularly dig the lighting and tones in this one.
i wonder why you mostly have your models smile at the camera, is it their wish or are you telling them to do that? i'm asking because i'd like to see some shots where the models are in a more unposed and realxed pose and NOT looking straight at the camera.
otherwise nice shot and gorgeous model, you seem to always get the good looking ones no? ;) |

D O U L O Sby nixterComment: love the combination here, though i find the crop on the top pic a bit tight. the tones look like from an expired ektachrome film or something, really like it! |

_DSC3762 claudia profile 800.jpgby pawdrixComment: did you update this with this newer version?
i liked the other one before better, her clean skin just doesn't really fit the antique background in this one imo...it also takes away from the serene atmosphere and simple compositon. just seems too busy now. |
