Lauren_001by shernandez7Comment: Very pretty subject and interesting use of light. I'm a little concerned with the soft processing. Looks kind of like spot editing in basic. Maybe you just had really sharp focus on the eyes and ran a slight blur over the whole image.
I really like the shot and she has a captivating expression. The softness everywhere is just not to my taste. |

Black Tie Optionalby laurie241Comment: This has a bit of Norman Rockwell in its composition. Some may not like the post process, but I think it works great here. And WOW, what big eyes!
Nice portrait. |

Thought in Actionby PayshaComment: Good clarity. I like the subtle rosy hue. Your lighting is pretty good, although there's a little bit of shine that seems out of place on the upper lip, but it's not major, and this is basic editing after all. |

Patient Fatherby dgoody208Comment: I love a picture that makes me look around to see what's there. This does that very well while still pulling me back into the subject.
The rope first caught my attention. It makes me wonder if there's usually a line, or are we perhaps to understand that nowadays no one comes?
The reflection in the glass door has me wondering if that's someone waiting in the distance, or is it perhaps a lonely icon, waiting, like the patient Father, for someone.
Being a lifelong protestant, I know I'm missing much richness here. Bt htis is still a wonderful and interesting peek into the church.
Nicely done. |

Unprofessional by hanaeComment: Kinda depends on the profession, don't ya think?
A little soft on the focus, but otherwise a good image that depicts a character. Many voters won't like the shadow. But I think it's appropriate for this shot. |

Off the Wallby chaitanyanComment: Good angle and use of a vanishing point with the wall. Basic editing wouldn't let you soften the bright spots in the sky at upper left, which is really the only distraction I see here. Nice focus on the foreground/first model. |

The Apprentice Lock Pickerby docjonnyComment: Those are some unique specs. Good angle and good choice of B&W. Contrast is a little high, but then you may have wanted that considering the title. |

untitledby choltmeierComment: This one is very well done. Not sure how the voters will take it, but I'll bet you don't care. The lighting and hi-lights along with the crazy frames and crazier eyes tell an exciting story. Nicely done. |
