Nice shot. I would although have avoided the white area in the upper right corner. It distract a lot from the patter/texture and ver nice contrast between the greens.6. Lionel

I think brighter light and more uniform would have serve better. I like the opposition beetween the lines and the other shapes of pasta. 6. Lionel

Interesting and nice shot. I think although that the handle shuold have fully show at the top it's like 'a little bit' is missing. I think I would have try to have the background further back so the details does not show. Nice capture of the steam. 6. Lionel

Nice colors and contrast. I like the composition ... except the head being aligned with the vertical line in the blind. I think you should have tried to avoid that. 6. Lionel

Very intriguing shot. I guess it's the level on the left, I do not know if could have avoif int one way or another (back piece of paper?)? I think it makes the shot 'unbalanced' even if a perfect simetry is not always good it makes the right part 'empty'. But very intriguing and nice shot. 7

I would just have framed a little less of the bridge and a little more of the trees. But nice picture.

FIRST IMPRESSION : WAOWWWWW, that's going to be a tough one

COMPOSITION : First I'd like to compliment for the creativity and the imagination for this challenge. That's so .. I do not know ...
Perfect use of negative space, perfect tones in whites and light greys. I would not have wanted a pure white background. It has a reminiscence of like a greek statue , not in the position obvisously but in the tone and the textures.
I do not know if it's intended but my eyes are attracted by the eye of the boy.

TECHNIQUE : Nothing to say but I can guess that catching correctly the light and the still present details. I am impressed by the details we can see with such tones and in that resolution.

Global impression :
Sorry, I susually try to comment a little more but this is so outstanding in the picture itself, the challenge, the imagination to do it that I am a little speechless.
If one day I do not like that ... that would justify all the pictures that were just 'ok' that I might have done.

At the top of the top.

FIRST IMPRESSION : simple, give almost a duotone picture, Good depth of field. No waow factor.

COMPOSITION : The cropping might be a little too tight and I am wondering how it would have looked with just a little bit of space so that the sign does not seems to 'sit' on the horizon line. Maybe would have been a little better.

I like the colors, very simple.
Maybe the 'stuff' in the lower left corner is a little distracting.

No WOW factor (but it does not need to have one :-) but more looking at the picture I like it more.

The sign by itself is very nice, beaten and torn.

TECHNICAL : VERY GOOD usage of Depth Of field, the sign is fully in focus zhile the rest is blurry. This makes a little less important my comment above as the sign is sepaarated at least in term of depth from the background.

DIGITAL : no sign of digital processing = good.

My Opinion : I like this photo better now that I have spent some time on it. It brings a lot of 'rural' feelings and connotations.
And the depth of field is very significant in that case. Congratulations
