I really like this... wasn't in my top scoring group, but was in the bunch JUST below. As we've come to expect from our illustrious leader, this is a wonderful work of art. Bravo! I love the mood, the emotion. Technically, the composition is wonderful... |

Catch The Rainbowby GeneralEComment: Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...
Good capture and composition. Don't know if you could have done a little more to make the colour pop a bit more... regardless... is a nice take on the challenge, and a very nice photo. Well done. |

Color Coordinated by vawendyComment: Commenting as part of my Team Suck duties...
Absolutely beautiful image. Well worthy of a ribbon. Congratulations. Colours and details here are EXCELLENT... as is the use of shallow DOF. Well done. |

Intersectionby sfaliceComment: Great breathe of fresh air in this challenge... something COMPLETELY different... something to make the viewer think. Love the simplicity of this, VERY MUCH. I hope that you haven't been punished too harshly for making the voters think a little. |

Growthby h2Comment: Technically perfect image. Wonderful use of selective sat, the shadows in the background are a wonderful touch... details are shark... good border. Should do very well and I personally reckon this will ribbon. |

Specimen #83: Pulvis Lunaris, or, The Coagulation of Woodby rooumComment: This is wonderful. I love the detail and use of shallow DOF to bring attention to it. Processing is great... though somewhat unconventional here on DPC... I'm thinking that's what I like so much about it... has a warmth about it. I feel I was a bit harsh on this during my voting phase and bumping it up a little to join 8 other images I've given my top. Well done. |

Still Winter...by codfish709Comment: Absolutely beautiful image, and it's wonderful how it meets the challenge in more ways then one. Composition and detail are faultless. Only criticism of this that I have is the vignette/border you've used... IMHO, it doesn't add to the image... makes it look like a bevelled web button. Just how I see that aspect of the processing.... nevertheless, this is one of a handful of images that I've given my top mark too. Well done. |

antlersby kellmak10Comment: Great image, and one of the handful I've awarded my highest vote too in this challenge. Love the warmth of the processing, and I'm a huge fan of the vignette. The LOUD wallpaper is a nice touch, linking the antlers to the environment in which they would have once been... though with a creature attached to them one assumes. One criticism of this, the border... I hate it when people knock me for my borders, and I hate doing it to others, but in this instance, the border here doesn't work for me... or the image IMHO. |
