Springtime for Sailboatsby CutterComment: One of my top three. The only things that bother me are the crop on the right and the left. Cutting off the boats is usually not a good thing. I love the border and the tones in this image. One of my top three. 10 Message edited by author 2005-05-18 07:07:08. |

Tin Roof......Rustedby ShannonComment: I am not really a big fan to abstracts but need to get more into it. I really like this one though. The nails add a lot to it and the lines in this are wonderful. Like in your comments the contrast between the tweo here are wonderful. I think it would look better with either no border or a black border. Just my opinion though. |

Trainby ShannonComment: I like this a lot. Very minimalist. It is simple yet effective. I don't know if your camera takes add on lenses but if they do I would love to see this sort of thing done with a fisheye. Nice bright blue sky, bright geeens. Nice work. |

Simple Beauty 2by ShannonComment: Great image. Everything is in focus and the framing is excellent. I normally don't care for the border getting lost like the red line does against the rose but it works very well here. Job well done. Title works good also. Very simple photo and very beautiful. |

Waitingby clarmoreComment: Out of the three you asked for comments on this one is the hardest. Perhaps because it is the best of the three. The centered composition works great here. You have lost some detail but I think that is what you are after and it works. The thick border works well here. The clouds are a nice touch also. I also want to mention how I like that the dog is looking off to the left of the photo and not directly at you. This to me adds character to the whole image. |

Rose in the Skyby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: This is very nice. The lighting is perfect. The background is perfect and the border is perfect. It is in good focus. If I can pick one thing that bothers me it is that one cloud right by the rose. It doesn't take much away from the photo but it is slighty distracting. This a very print worthy as I see you have a print available. You have an eye for framing your subject. |

Kids at Playby clarmoreComment: This is a nice capture. One true moment with no fake expression on the faces. These are beautiful moments to capture. It is a shame the girl is cut off in the photo. The leg and the head. If you got all of the head and still cut the leg off that would be ok. But to cut of part of a persons head imo is the worst part to cut off. It was probably a quick moment and you didn't have time to frame it but that is ok. Also I love the kinda fog look to it it kinda adds a dreamy look to the photo. Good work. |

Kiss the Oceanby clarmoreComment: Nice shot indeed. The only things I can complain about is that the horizon is not level. At least it appears that way. Level the horizon and you have it. Also the huge border. I think it would be much better with maybe just 1/8" - 1/4" border. As it is now the huge border IMO takes away from the beautiful kinda canid moment you have here. |
