clouds buildingby RiponladyComment: I really love the colors in this shot. I see you took it while the road. Nice work. I really love the clouds and the grass and how the green of the grass just pops. If I could change one thing it would be to crop just a little more off the bottom to lose the bluriness. Nice work anyway. |

Trainby notonlineComment: To explain my 8 is that there is a lot to see in this photo, perhaps too much. The few things that bother me are all the lights at top and the one sign showing through the trees on the left. If you had a star filter and used it then it would improve the shot drastically. It also looks as you were on a bridge. I think if possible it would have been better at a lower POV just to block out all those lights in the background.
Edit: for getting the left and right crossed. sorry Message edited by author 2005-08-09 10:49:32. |

Lost by heidaComment: Ver nice. The only thing that bothers me is I think it is just a little too dark. I know you were probably shooting for this but I think one notch lighter and it is perfect. Still a 9 |

Pacific Nightsby elsapoComment: My favorite in this challenge. I just don't know what it is but I love it. The simplicity of the shot mixed with the force of an ocean wav and the bright red just does something for me. In short this shot "ROCKS" |

Union Soldiersby jenesisComment: I love this. I like the soft focus, the lighting. Very pleasing to the eye and excellent work from an already excellent photographer. |

My silent lucidity roomby smilebig4me1xComment: Returning for comment. I gave you a 5 only because of a few things and I will explain:
First: I think it is too tight of a crop. Step back a little and get more of the bathtub.
Second: I really don't care too much for the soft focus but didn't count off a lot for that only because it is personal opinion. It also appears that the candle in the back is totally out of focus. A bigger DOF would also help.
Third: If you had stepped back a little and had a subject in the tub I feel this would get your point across a lot better than it does now. Maybe someone in there reading a book or just with their eyes closed and their head rested on the tub.
Fourth: Once that was done I would get a lower POV.
I really hope this helps. Good luck in all your future challenges. |
