Dazzling, but yet distracting. I'll sit on this photo a while before voting.

Nice job capturing the bokeh. It would have been a little better if she wore a different color hat so there was more contrast between her and the background. Nice shot though.

Wisht the background was a little more out of focus. It's sharp enough now to distract my eye from your subject.

Background bokeh does not enhance your subject. This is a quote from the description of the challenge, "take a photograph whose subject is enhanced by the bokeh of the background." I don't feel that the house enhances your turtle....the shapes and color and overal feel of the background does nothing for your actual subject. Nice try.

Cute kid, but doesn't meet the challenge. Perhaps if you were closer to your subject, and used a larger aperature those books would have been converted from slightly out of focus to bokeh.

Nice job! I think some of the white bokeh hides some of the blown out portions of your subject....little distracting there, but otherwise very nicely done.

Little overboard. Takes away from your subject.

Focus needs to be a bit sharper on their faces....also the out of focuss background is just that....not a great representation of bokeh as I'm sure you have realized from some of the other entries. Priceless shot, but may not hold up! :(
