Swingby NeuferlandComment: The red is what makes this image great. The whole shot is wonderful, Deannda - especially the DOF, the red, the focus, the lines, the composition, the ... :-) It's just a damn good job. Congratulations! |

1-2-manyby messerschmittComment: I disagree with the comments about the blue at the bottom - it adds to the image for me. How did you do this? I'm giving it a favorite now. I love it! |

Refraction, eh?by DigiFotoBuddyComment: Shail, congratulations on your excellent image! I'd love to know how you did it. The clarity of the glasses (and they're so clean!) really stand out. I like the color a lot, too. For the "constructive" criticism, I do agree with two commenters below that it would be interesting to see a closer crop and the sharpening was possibly one step too far. The sharpening is most evident with the slight glow around the fork and spoon. But this is really a great image and worthy of a high score! WTG!! |

Hawaiian Delightby DigiFotoBuddyComment: I really like Yanko's comment below with the suggestion of focus point on the seeds towards the back. Perhaps also if the bottom, with the backgroud was cropped out? Lovely colors! Now I'm hungry for fruit... :-) |

The Mallby RetinusComment: This is really good, almost like it's one dimension, rather than two. |

002Poppies2005.jpgby YoungerComment: This would look beautiful as a print. The huge cloud makes a perfect backdrop for the person (couple?), who in turn make a great backdrop for the poppies! |

Blue Flowerby NelzieComment: 85 views and not a single comment! There must be something that's drawn all these views. I think it is the composition that catches the eye. It's a sweet shot with that one yellow-centered blue flower standing out from the rest. Nice job. |
