Grandpa's lampby MontagueComment: This looks like there's quite a bit of neat image, which I'm normally not crazy about - but in this case, it works really well! PERFECT lighting and impressive processing. You gave an ordinary lantern extra nice character. |

Fine vintageby xtineComment: Cool looking biker guy - wish only that I could see more of his face, or that the shot could've been taken with a fill flash or from the other side. I know it's not always possible to get this kind of shot in the light we want! It's just to take it as best as you can when you get the chance, which is what you probably did. But the lighting would've improved my score. I really like the guy's look and casual posture. |

old streetby quindeComment: This could use a litttle less of the bright lights, in my opinion. Wonder if it would be nice with the brightest light at right cropped out? |

Oh, SEWHANDY!by ralfwComment: The objects are beautiful and old, but with the cloth background that is so brightly colored, it's almost too much. It might be worth looking at the same composition with a plain colored background, but maybe your intention is to show something that may have been sewn on this machine. Amazing how good condition both the book and the machine are! They've been well taken care of. I've never seen a sewing machine like this - it's really interesting. |

Old Number 12by pacpintoComment: Great colors, especially that weird green near the bottom. I like how it looks beside those bricks. Upper right highlights are slightly distracting, maybe. |

Almost 60by SandyPComment: Great capture - look at all those lines! This is such a nice crop too, even if I can imagine that you might get comments suggesting other ways to crop it. For me this just brings my eye directly to the elephant's eye, so we're looking right at each other. |

Mechanical calculatorby GabrielComment: The lighting makes this look mysterious. How it used is certainly mysterious to me! Nice entry. Perfectly sharp in all the right places. |

Sadby rkligmanComment: very nice - I like the rust or whatever it is that's red on the hotel sign. Contrasts well with the grey of the hotel and the newer building in the background. The curtains give a little mystery, too. |
