sailing 4by missinseattleComment: Very pretty soft processing. It gives a romantic and nostalgic feeling. It might make a big difference (and maybe not :-) to clone out the post on left. That way, the ship and the pier sort of balance each other in a different way. I'd also like to see a little of the water cropped out to allow the ship and all that sky to be a little more predominant.Cropping a tiny bit of the water would also help the line of horizon to not be so near the center line. What a beautiful ship! |

whaaat? (Stationary by the flash)by gpalosComment: Composition is really nice! I thnk the highlights and loss of contrast in the shadows hurts quite a bit, though. Might be a bit too dark for many monitors as well. It's a cute face framed by that wood. I don't mark down for titles at all, but would like to mention that it's not recommended to describe your technicals in a title. |

Ahh! retirement in JAMAICAby dmaddenComment: This is a little too dead center for it to be very interesting to me. I don't really understand the title either, but I try not to let titles affect me scoring in any negative way. I think this is an interesting subject, even if the presentation doesn't do a lot for me ... a detail crop to emphasize the hull or just the cabin would be awesome! Nice colors in the sand and sky. |

Stationary... since Cretaceous...by gipomontesantoComment: Good colors. The thing with this image is that my eye keeps going to the only really sharp and bright part just left of center. And then it's hard for me to figure out what it is since there's not much detail in that part. Your title helps me understand that these are fossils. I think the dof is good but possible not on the right area within the image. The fossil to the left looks really interesting thanks to its spiral form. |

Freedoms Spiritby ShecoyaComment: I like seeing her stomping away - so tough! Beautiful colors. Wish you could make the neighbors tear down that fence, though :-) |

Curiosityby JPRComment: U R brave. Yes, they look kind and very cute, but I would be running for my life :-) I was just charged by a herd of cows the other day while I was innocently trying to photograph a field. Goats, cows, and roosters scare the daylights out of me. Other than my biases, I want to leave this comment so you know that there is at least one more person who loves this shot. The curious look of these goats in their amazing environment really gets to me (in a good way). Makes me want to go to Colorado right this minute. |

passageby messerschmittComment: Talk about geometry! What a contrast-filled image this is. I like how it makes my mind a little crazy trying to figure out what's up, what's down, and what's sideways like a puzzle. |

c a t c hby messerschmittComment: Oooh, it's like a dream. My favorite part is the flowers to the right that the fish seems to be trying to swim toward. This is a very beautiful image. Oh man, I guess I'll have to fave it. The swirls of the window frame, screen, or whatever that is drive me to it. |
