IMG_1795b.jpgby BradComment: Wait. Maybe *this* is my favorite, not the other one :-) NO. I like them all. But this is really special because of the smile and non-traditional pose. It's like the viewer shares a secret with the model. You're doing so well. |

Meant for each other by lentilComment: yay ... Yay ... YAY!!!! Big congrats to you Lisa! I'm sooo happy for you with the ribbon and a blue one to boot. It's well-deserved, a wonderful image! Hope you tell the bride and groom that they got a blue ribbon. Bet they'll be thrilled too! |

Through Treesby tnunComment: It is really amazing colors! I read once that Ansel Adams broke the twig on some tree that was in his way to get the shot ... would've helped a lot if you could've done similarly with that middle tree :-) I love the perfect position and strength of that rainbow. What a lucky day to find that! |

springtime02szbwDSCN2753.jpgby tnunComment: I like this one much better than the free study (sorry) on several levels: First, the wood planter thing is quite a distraction in the middle of the other picture, but here it's a wonderful leading line helping the pedestrian through the image. Second, the lines in the walls that aren't really noticeable in the other version are supporting features here. They get the viewer to look right at the gentleman with the flowers, and it's he who's the subject in my mind. I could go on and on, but I think I'll just add this shot to my faves in instead :-)
edited to correct sneaky swedish characters that messed up my spelling :-)Message edited by author 2008-03-09 05:14:13. |
