c o n t a c tby lowonenergyComment: Nice tight portrait - infact the tightness itself adds an edginess and immediacy to the shot. Not keen on the border treatment. |

Up in Smokeby AlexSaberiComment: Wow, interesting way of framing... I don't like the choice of fur-lined hood - I think the texture of that fur detracts from the smoke itself framing the face. Like the way the detail and light is clear around his eyes. |

Pureby Blue MoonComment: Sweet close-up; the essence of simplicity and innocence. Don't like the "painted" effect but do love the image, the crop/composition and the high key nature. |

Texas State History Museumby GordonComment: Really like your choice of perspective/ viewpoint to make the star statue such a huge part of the image and provide a frame for the main building behind. Works really well. |

Teethby daboardergirlComment: Lovely shapes and textures which make an interesting black and white study but it's lacking a real focal point or hook to really pull me in. |

Up and Awayby redmoonComment: I like the slight over exposure and slight motion blur of people too - both contribute to the slightly unreal feeling of this - makes it seem like a sci-fi set rather than Canary Wharf! (Is this yours, LB?) |

Jonathan?by hajekaComment: I'm curious about how many will understand your title - clever reference by the way and it did make me stop and smile and look at the photo that much longer. |

SwirlPoolby NeilComment: At first glance, I nearly skipped straight on past but actually, this shot has a strange permanence that made me stop. The light has a wonderful quality and the long exposure has managed to stress both the stillness and the movement at the same time! Colours are lovely. Lovely. |

Surprisedby AlainComment: Lovely sharpness, I love those hairs along it's neck/ body. Fantastic composition. Excellent DOF - love the softness of the background against the sharpness of the foreground. Oh and colours too - the foreground ones are just perfect over the background ones. An absolutely wonderful wildlife shot. |

Arrivéeby ImagineerComment: Hey stranger, haven't seen you on DPC much lately! Gotta love the complete contrast in colours between subject nad background... works really well. |
