Driftwoodby GraciousComment: Fantastic - would like it even more without the exaggerated contrast but that's just personal preference. The DOF works well - I like that the framed view is out of focus compared to the detail of the wood. Great curved and just the right composition/ crop. |

Face-to-Face In the Snowby magnetic9999Comment: Such a good composition nad well caught with him looking at camera.
Is colour jacked up? Nose and area around look over saturated...

Broken Motion by JackoComment: This is very "Thai" - love the shapes and symmetry. And the darkness surrounding her. I'd like more crop below and more included at top. |

Flower Girlby SonifoComment: Great studio shot - lovely capture of expression - this is as good as any studio professional's work. |

Blue Rockets Over the Red Riverby goodtempoComment: Great capture!
I think I'd prefer this in portrait orientation with the two black side areas cropped right out. The two white flares from the bottom would also look better in a portrait image I think. |

Blueberry Splash by JackoComment: Great idea and great capture!
Compositionally it feels too low in the frame - I appreciate it's probably cropped that way to include the droplets/ corona but it just feels a little too tightly cropped at the bottom to me.
Some of the whites seem a little blown out, though that could be my monitor which doesn't have a high enough gamut to see the very whitest and very blackest ranges. |

Blue Sky, Blue Spruce, White Snowby alanfreedComment: I guess the white must be snow on a hill but each time I look at this it just appears to me that the bottom of the picture hasn't loaded properly.
Because of the way in which it cuts off the bottoms of the trees in the shot it just doesn't seem right. It seems to be blocking my natural view rather than adding to the shot.
The sky is nicely captured. |

Blue Symmetryby xertionComment: As I've been voting and refining voting this image has definitely moved up through the ratings - starting from 7 it's now a firm 9.
I find it strangely compelling - so symmetrical and only slightly broken up by those strange white things.
I assume it's a ceiling somewhere but really I don't care - it's the abstract forms and the play of colour, light and shadow that I like here.
Good luck!
