Comment:
Nice cloud and light interest in the sky and the silhouette is pleasingly simple. The cloud at top left is letting through just a touch too much bright white light I think. Also I find this somewhat sinister image, it kind of makes me think of how the church (in the UK) is losing followers and is in a dark hour. That's just me though. Pink light at the edge of the clouds is the nicest element.

I really like this - how refreshing to see the flower head on and the shadow providing the context of vase etc. A great composition and the pink background works beautifully.

So light, so soft. I can feel the breeze. A beautiful image with wonderful loose composition and the most beautiful light on the feather. I love the DOF choice throwing the backmost fringes of the feather out of focus.

A beautiful portrait - the lines of the blind and the light and shadow lines on the model really add interest. The pool of light around her left eye and the highlight within it are particularly good.

No idea if these are the same pair in the other current (or recent) challenge but I much prefer this image. Looking at the shoes face on to one provides more interest, texture and focal point - the text adds interesting detail. The shadow also adds something to the frame though I'm not sure it's position in the frame relative to the shoes is quite right. A lovely shot telling just the first part of the story - who's shoes are these and what is her story?

Beautiful lighting and the strong shadows really enhance the mood. I'd like to crop some of the black background from left and possibly top to bring her face more horizontally central.

Fantastic texture and colour in the background rock really sets off the shadow - implies the plant is some ancient variety from the time when dinos roamed the earth - or maybe that's just me? I do like diagonal composition with plant rooted in lower right corner.

Interesting shot though the lower right lets it down a little. Great abstraction of shapes and lines whilst still retaining recognisability (is that even a word) of the subject matter.

Absolutely beautiful use of low perspective, shallow DOF and minimal lighting. I like this very very much - it's strongly evocative of mood and place.
