Kiwi Sunshineby puyaComment: Wow! It's like looking at a Monet - the texture is wonderful - makes it all more abstract. The colours are so vibrant. And of course the composition is excellent - the square crop and cornered design work so well. Love it! |

Wanna Play Some Catch?by ShelleyComment: I think the composition is very strong here, the tight curves of the ball seams complement the lazier curves of the yellow glove. I think lighting makes the final image look a little flat though - somehow lacking in vibrancy, if that makes sense. |

Button Upby melongrindComment: I love this! What a great macro! I love the way I can see the fibrous textures of the thread itself. I also really like the uneven vertical lines and the three blocks of similar colours. A great macro and a great image! |

Steel Wavesby ScottKComment: This one certainly made me look, look and look again. I like the slightly surreal edge it has - both content wise and compositionally. |

Bonne Maman Framboises (1.6 ounce jars)by AzrifelComment: This has a really different feel to many other entries and I can this kind of studio shot appearing in magazine adverts etc. Good use of DOF and a nice simple arrangement and perspective. |

Looking Up From Belowby HRoxasComment: The lighting transforms the petals into flames for me. Very dramatic. The choice of black background helps emphasise the colours in the flower and stem. |

oneby deceptiveComment: I love the colours reflected in the glass - particularly on the ridges formed by the raised lettering. |

Brushby darcyComment: An interesting use of perspective to transform an every day object into something more abstract. |
