Beloved Friend IIby sherComment: This one really evokes times gone by, not only because of the well-loved toy but by your use of a lot of natural wood in the background and the toned black and white. Nice one!

Boy to Manby ImagineerComment: Great mood to this shot. I love the worn wooden deck of the bridge and the contrast between it's texture and that of the wonderfully skewed metal side panels. Composition is superb with the swooping curve of the suspension cables plus the echo between deck and clear sky. I don't know whether the nostalgic feel comes from my having read your comments or from the image itself... |

Great Courtby AndrewTOComment: Isn't it a beautiful building? I have a vaguely similar shot in my challenge entries portfolio from way back - soooo photogenic isn't it? Did you go inside the library to get a good look at the ceiling from in there? Cool eh?
PS The exposure seems a little out. It might be worth adjusting levels to bring the details of the stone building out more? |

Meditationby BobsterLobsterComment: Fantastic composition. The frame itself feels like the enclosing walls of a small room. The almost silhouetted presentation of the model works well. I like the green tones. And lots of wonderful lines and textures. |

Ageby gandersComment: As already mentioned in person, needs to be much sharper in focus with a touch more contrast too. But I really do like the abstract nature and texture that you almost have here. |

Of Wisdom by PedroComment: This is the interpretation I idly thought about trying to convey but I couldn't think of a suitable model and I know I'd not have created as compelling an image as you have here. Even without eye contact you've created a connection, a sympathetic reaction, a curiousity about the subject and her life experiences. Nicely composed too. |

Fe Lineby bobdaveantComment: Beautiful detail, nice DOF choice, excellent close crop. Black and white perfect to bring out shapes, lines and tones. |

Railroad Rememberedby dsidwellComment: Quite haunting. I wonder if it would have been better as a duotoned black and white or just with a touch of the saturation taken out of the sky? |
