Perfect Fitby xerophyteComment: Beautiful, beautiful detail. I like the idea of lifting the leaf tip out of it's place, like lifting a puzzle piece out of the picture. The indentation it leaves creates a lovely dark contrast for the red, yellow and white. Lovely. |

Now, where's that corner piece?by TrollManComment: Beautiful image, that line of vivid rusty and muddy orange contrasts nicely with the desaturated snow, ice and water. The straight perspective lines work well against the uneven shapes of the ice. The nearest metal ring makes a nice focal point. All good. |

The Missing Linkby toddheadComment: Very striking and the white facepaint really focuses attention on those beautiful eyes. |

Pole Positionby jrjrComment: What a beautiful image. The fog makes the entire scene more intriguing, and somehow more dramatic too. The high contrast black and white is perfect, and helps make the shot feel timeless. I love the bird stretching it's neck upward is in silhouette but the other birds have some details in the light. It works so well. |

Source of Lightby BrinComment: Wow! With the reflection of the aurora borealis in the water, not to mention the way the water leads the eye into the image, this is one of the more striking northern light images I've come across. |

Bubbles by lovethelightComment: Wow, is she really in the fishpond? Kudos to her, you wouldn't catch me in there with all that floating fish poo! ;) Like this one a lot, it's quirky, interesting composition, great high contrast black and white... |

Clearly needs post editing!by mileskeaComment: This is a fun idea! I think it would work better if the clear plastic on which the graffiti eyepatch, beard and stitches are drawn were the full width of the frame so that one couldn't see those two edges. Also, positioning so the stitches were more accurately over skin would be good too. BUT it's such a fun idea, I like it! |

Confinedby breadfan35Comment: Heh, love that textured glass. I like the effect the glass has on the shape and colours behind. |
