Really cute idea. I'll bet this was a challenge to shoot! I'm not sure if I am crazy about the white background and wonder what it would have looked like with a less stark background. The colors seem a bit dull but that could also be my monitor. All in all an excellent image and I rated it very high!

I have no idea what color if any chlorine gas would be, but this image was so creatively executed, I just had to rate it highly. Is that a dog in the mask? Great job, This just worked for me on so many levels, and captured the essence of an "gas element" very well.

This is my favorite in the challenge. I love the detail in the fingers and the blurry background. This image just stood out for me and had emotional impact!

OK another guessing game regarding how this fits into the challenge...We have a phone, a wine bottle, a lead crystal goblet. Hmmm. Arsnic is on the screen of the phone. I guess that is the element. Boy I had to work hard to "get" this one.

Outside of the point being difficult to understand, it is well lit, and the focus is good, colors are spot on.

Periodic table? OK I see tin cans, that is an element, but the way they are being used just doesn't seem to imply any sort of connection to the challenge.

Looking past the DNMC (in my opinion), I like the image overall, the gray scale is very pleasing and for an image without a subject in the center, this one is very interesting.

Ok, maybe I lack creativity, but I just don't like made up elements when there are so many real one's to choose from. Besides that, the image isn't very interesting and isn't very well executed. Maybe going for the brown award here?

The lighting isn't working for me on this image. The single bright spot is distracting and the background looks like chocolate. I won't be surprised if it get's DQ'ed for the writing in the lower left corner too. Better luck next time.
