Split endsby geewhyComment: Quote: 'Originally submitted for the "Broken" challenge, but I decided to pull it at the last minute as I didn`t think the link to the challenge was strong enough.'
Submit it for any challenge you like, mate. It's masterful in any context. |

docked.jpgby bpickardComment: That's a lovely, harmonious composition. Such an interesting idea to give a massive subject such a light, airy processing treatment ... and it works, for me. Nice name for a ship, 'Fortune Spirit'. Rather better than one I saw a shot of recently; it was named for solar system bodies, and was called 'Titan Uranus'. |

Jetty and Flats, Provincetownby Bear_MusicComment: This is magnificent! I've been telling myself that I REALLY don't need a 20D/350D. My little Olympus is perfectly fine, I tell you ... fine! You and this damn lens have once again cruelly exposed the flimsy construction of my fortress of self-delusion. Mercy! I submit! Mercy! |

Ice Cream Socialby sibelingComment: I love this unusual composition. You perhaps chose this point-of-view mainly to be discrete, but I think you should claim to have done it deliberately because it makes for a fascinating image with a lot of artistic merit. There will be those who protest that the foreground booth, the chair, the window frames, etc are distracting. Take no notice whatsoever! 9 |

-- Icy White --by trobergeComment: It's very appealing; a pretty model with perfect skin, hair & eyes for your idea, great little details (the white background/top lip/straps), slightly off-centre composition & asymmetrical shoulder level creates just a tiny hint of tension, and the understated presence of the milk puts emphasis where it should be (on the charming model) without weakening the overall Dairy theme of the shot. 9 |

The Moo Moo Sisterhoodby Links 2 3 4Comment: Ha! Love this ... it's a terrific capture to have seen and photographed three such similar ladies so effectively. Contrary to what most people would imagine, it's quite unusual for this level of similarity of markings, especially together. You certainly made the most of the opportunity! 8 |

Heliophileby bicrayComment: Deserved so much more, Ramon. Alas, too many conventional thinkers (actually, too many who don't appear to think at all). Nevertheless, you did improve your challenge record a bit, which was probably of little consequence to you. And you taught a few a lovely new word. But more to the point, you surely achieved your goal vis-a-vis personality, as the many appreciative comments below attest. Thanks to both of you. Bravo! dangerous curvesby DrJOnesComment: A technically masterful but alas conceptually cheesy nude study. Fabulous lighting and really superb photography in every respect but one; I just can't get past that bad taste factor. 7 |
