whispersby cginoComment: Do NOT make me like flowers. Please! It's just a short step from there to bloody insects and milk splashes. And from there? Country music I'm afraid; terminal schmaltz. So please don't do this again and risk having me (gasp! wince!) start liking this floral stuff. Have you no mercy, woman? |

Profileby GermaineComment: Ever wondered what they'd sound like ... I mean if they could talk? I think they'd sound very dignified, and a little bit stuffy. The late Jim Henson would have been a great voice for a pelican. |

Of course it is. Unless it's the head shadow of a Tyrannosaurus rhinoceros? Could be that, too. Good fun, either way. |

Handrailby trevytrevComment: This is graphically very appealing. Grain, tone, texture ... and a nice composition of such meagre resources, too. I do like images that could be abstracts if you just squeeze your eyes closed a bit. |

Campgroundby GermaineComment: Looks like near me, except our sun is on the other side. I'd have to take this in the morning instead. |

So it's the LB?
I told my wife it was the dog! She appeared skeptical. |

The Harp phby Ecce_SignumComment: "Single glass" you say? Nonsense ... I'd bet you had at least three or four. Surely nobody has just one at the Harp? |

a walk in the snowby ErinMComment: Originally posted by cgino: Oh brr! I imagine a female double agent having to meet with her contact, so she has offered to take her neighbor's dog for a walk to give her an excuse to be walking through the park in horrible weather...:-) |
My thoughts exactly! Well, nearly. Oh, all right, I didn't really think any such thing. But I do now.
The trees are exquisite. And the spy, of course. Is she walking angled towards us, or angled away from us? Advancing or receding? I do love these images filled with ambiguity and uncertainty. It's why I cry (nearly) when I see all those comments on normal challenge entries about 'tack sharp' and 'distractions'. I just want to grasp their heads and a take a big ol' nasty club and ... cry. |
