Chasing the Dream?by muur88Comment: I've just realized that it's not a b-ball. It's a balloon. I thought he was taking a free shot. I give him the point anyway. |

READY FOR ACTIONby nivlekComment: This is a very nice shot, but would be even better if the blacks were actually black. Just seems a little too grey. Interesting the tenuous toehold that the jockey has on the stirrup iron! |

bottom leftby skewsmeComment: Yep, I see ol' Kris. Could be Bobby McGee down in the corner. Which would make the other one me, I guess. Good enough.
This has the same vaguely Fabergé quality as your calendar shot. I like 'em. |

Chasing the Dream?by muur88Comment: I always like photographs where part of the picture is outside the frame. Can there really be a hoop up there, in the street? Or another guy a few yards out of shot? Or just a wall, and this is a solo game of dreams? The other two men are indifferent ... city life, I guess. And one other puzzle: what the hell is a cheese steak? Sounds revolting.
Unfinished photography; it's the best kind. 7. |

Incongruent Heartby colorcarnivalComment: Even after the desensitizing effect of all the banal jigsaw puzzle entries, this one still manages to shine through as having some substance. Probably because it actually is a puzzle and thus invites some thought. What a welcome relief. 7. |

Never A Dull Momentby gsalComment: Easily the best. How could there be a better 'action' photograph than this great picture of some kids delighting in the pure joy of movement for the sake of it? Not going anywhere; not doing some tedious bloody sport; just jumping because it's the most wonderful fun-to-be-alive thing for a group of young friends to do. The fact that it's happening before this sombre institutional backdrop makes it all the more wonderful. 10. And an Order of the Thumb:

I hung the raving rabbitby delianaComment: Congratulations on doing something different; something with a bit of the spark of life in it. You'll get blasted by the voters: 'too yellow'; 'no action'; 'dnmc'; blah, blah, blah. Poor, sorry bastards. 10. |

passybydp.jpgby IraklisComment: Oh yes. That's very good. We pass each other by, deeply insulated by our gaze, by out hats, by our glasses. I wonder if we walked the streets naked, would we make eye contact? I think that we would, for lots of reasons!
