I was slightly surprised that I liked this as much as I do. The title does it justice, because it repays a longer look. If (to quote posthumous) the viewer first empties the mind, this photograph has a remarkable capacity to fill it afresh. Repeat, and it happens again in a quite different way. Repeat once more, and ditto. Ad infinitum, presumably. That's remarkable, and testament to the sensory durability of the photograph. Top two pick for me. Thank you.
