needs restoration ...by coolharComment: Not sure how you could've done anything differently, but the view outside the window is distracting. I like your choice of color for the border. Wow. That's the second border I've commented on in this challenge. I guess if I'm going to notice the border (the black ones are usually a given) it should be for a good reason as it is in your case. ;^)
The exposure for this arrangement looks tricky to not underexpose the room, nor overexpose the window sunlight on the wall. Looks fine from here. Good luck in the challenge. |

A Pair of Shoesby RobbyComment: This works in a nice simple way. Wasn't sure if I liked your choice of angles as the column on the far wall (thought it was a door at first) was drawing my attention away from the shoes, but maybe that's ok...makes me look at the rest of the image. The room seems like a ballet type setup...maybe ballet slippers instead of Chuck Taylor's? |

Minimalist Gymby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Good idea and the parameters (empty room and one item) are certainly met. Normally I don't comment on borders at all, but I find this one distracting as it made me look at it (the lower left corner feels odd). Most of the time borders aren't really noticed much. I wish you had lowered the blinds on all windows. For some reason they take interest away from the piece of gym equipment. |

"L" Ghostby srdanzComment: Nope. Doesn't count. You've only used 1/2 an item for this image. ;^)
The wide angle lens adds additional interest to this capture. Would have liked it a bit more I think if the "ghost" was more opaque/faded. Good luck in the challenge. |

No gravityby DjabordjaborComment: Cute, but where's the room? This is well exposed and fun to look at, however I think you're going to get zapped by the DNMC voters (no room, and two items instead of one). Good luck! |

The Photographerby redmoonComment: Now THAT is an empty room! Wow! BIG too. ;^) The photographer in your image adds the context needed to give this image proper scope. Friend of yours? ;^) |

Not Superstitious by rioloboComment: Creative and well done. The natural wood tone works well with the colorful umbrella. Minor distraction of the umbrella shadow on the far wall/floor (fill light flash?). This looks like a historical/tourist type building. I'll have to come back later to find out where. ;^) |

Last Whisperby xianartComment: Nice job of processing to direct the viewer to the main subject item. Nicely done. |

Pre-Season Abandonmentby littlegettComment: Oops! Forgot the empty room... You've framed your subject well. The lighting is a bit harsh (early or late day sun would work better for this). |
