r e a c h i n g - t h e - s k y . . .by vikasComment: Oh yeah. Liking this. Only nitpik is you can still seem some detail in the shirt...would be nice to have a true silhouette here. Nonetheless, great catch! Good luck in the challenge. |

The excitement and thrill of a new found passionby gliphixComment: I'm not sure what's more fun to look at, the surfer girl or the smile on the guy's face to her left. ;^) A little grainy, and shutter speed not quite fast enough, but pretty close (either that or camera motion blur). Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Fight Clubby steinarComment: Cute, funny, disgusting, and creative all rolled up in one. The mirror helps sell the image concept. Good luck. |

Rufous Hummingbird, femaleby hahn23Comment: That's a tough one to stop motion on. You almost succeded, just a little blur in the wings. Actually, looking closer I think what looks like blur is actually from DOF. Bummer. Many people are going to see it as motion blur I'm afraid. :( Nonetheless. Congrats on a nice capture. Good luck in the challenge. |

Plop...by sfarrell23Comment: Yes sirree! It's a splash. ;^) And a blueberry to boot. All kidding aside, it's a fine image. The "splash" may be too distant to make some voters happy and the included table in the corner will probably garner some comments as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

Hi there!by lastefComment: Now where have we seen this fella before? ;^) It's a very cute shot, but I don't think there's enough motion to stop in the viewers mind. And even then, the wing is still blurred, not really "stopped". Best of luck to you. |

Splashdownby marboComment: That has to feel good with all the heat! ;^) This is one time where a centered composition works fine - can't see any other way to frame it. I do wonder how it would look in a portrait orientation with some of the sides cropped out (including some of the water spray edges)? Just a thought. Fun image nonetheless. Good luck in the challenge. |
