Dicey Peasby BrianRComment: Clever idea. Adjusting the color temp of your image would remove the bluish cast and make your whites a little whiter (unless you were using blue to symbolize cold?). For greater impact it might have helped to fill the rest of the frame with peas also instead of leaving the top open. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

I eat my peas with honeyby debreezeComment: Cute...must be a popular saying as I've seen it a couple of times now. ;^) I'm thinking you're selling the message more than the challenge subject (peas). The peas are underexposed and in shadows. The white of the note in the foreground is not white enough - needs some adustments (levels, histogram, curves, B/W points...most any of these should do it). All of this is JMO of course. ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

What, you never saw a giant pea before???by dgpilotComment: Clever title, but don't depend on the title alone to sell your image to the voters. I'm thinking you're going to get hammered for not having an actual 'pea' in your entry. The toddler's face is well focused but the DOF is too shallow to pull the hands and ball into focus - which is important as the green ball is your primary subject. All JMO of course. ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

Good Ole' Peas!by Candi20Comment: Nice looking cans. ;^) Several things holding this image down; 1) tossed together backdrop is wrinkled and messy looking, 2) the image is flat and really needs some additional contrast added, 3) is the backdrop white? if yes, you need to set the B/W points, and 4) lighting is off or a levels adj is needed - looks underexposed, yet there is light glare on the cans...
Best of luck to you in this and future challenges. |

pea dreamsby BKerrComment: This is interesting and abstract. It also looks like a photo of a chipped tile? From the kitchen perhaps? |

My Old Pea-anoby HoochieComment: Cute title, however - your image is not focused well and the color balance is off. Could also use some contrast and levels adjustments. |

Blue Stupid!by charliebakerComment: Is this some kind of test? 'Blue Peas', then 'Blue Stupid'? I gave 'Blue Peas' a 2, guess this deserves a 1? Good luck in the Brown Ribbon chase. |

"no.....it's beyond a flat tire"by Bus352Comment: For a minute I thought this was real, then I noticed the rope to the right of the car. Pretty funny display/statue however! ;^) You've titled it just right and catching the guy on the phone puts it all together well. Good luck! |

Blue Peasby charliebakerComment: Huh?! Sorry, not getting ANY connection to the challenge at all. Trying to set a record for DNMC comments? ;^) |
