Jones Sodaby stare_at_the_sunComment: Hey. I've heard someone mention Jones soda before...isn't it a local/regional item? Anyway...very cool choice/setup for your photo here. Good choice of shutter speed to freeze some of the water spray. I do wish the composition wasn't quite so tight...little more room to the outside of each bottle might make this stronger. Good luck. |

It blows your thirst away!by graphicfunkComment: Wonderful execution of the image capture with the splash, lighting, etc... It's the attention to details that gets you here with scoring. The background seam is distracting (and avoidable). Wait, unless this is in a tub or something? Hmmm. Well, whatever the background is, it BEGS to be white instead of grey. |

Refreshing Coca-Colaby aj1621Comment: It's "OK". The background color is too similar IMO. White or even red could have given this a boost. As is, it feels a little drab. |

Coorsby -kipComment: I like the color reflection on the background. The seam where the background materials meet is distracting (and totally avoidable). Lighting is a little strong and generating some glare. Might have had more impact if the entire bottle was visible. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

The Silver Bulletby dragonladyComment: Clean, simple...looks refreshing, although not much of it looks well focused. I think the focal point is underwater, making it comes out softer? Hmmm...just some observations. Good luck in the challenge. |

After a while, even Keystone Light starts to tast good....by essieComment: Is he supposed to be passed out or is he lapping the beer off the table? If passed out he'd be more relaxed (arm not supporting), if lapping you might see his tongue. Bet you had fun cleaning up the mess afterwards. ;) The lighting on this is a bit harsh (strong glare on the glass and can). |

Well, I guess you ended up doing just fine. Too bad you didn't make the front page with this - THAT would shake up the DPC train of thought! :D |
