Last Lightby JustinMComment: I like this. Nice control of focus thru the foreground branches. Do feel like the subject is somewhat centered ... |

Floppyby DistantColoursComment: I just bought an external floppy drive the other day! Had to get some files off an old disk from 1997. :) |

America's Gameby markwileyComment: Great timing on this. Enjoyed the juxtaposition. The eye of a experienced street shooter! My top pick. |

Texasby Yo_SpiffComment: I like the post work better on this one vs the last one (below), and it's definitely more in your face! :-)

Point Reyes by BaldurTComment: Best, by far (IMO), of the times this outing has worked for you. Although the water reflection one is a very close 2nd. :)

Order Up! by NikonJebComment: I don't know why, but this felt more like a counter area than a window sill. Perhaps the commercial aspect of it? Congrats however, on the high finish in the challenge. |

Divaby posthumousComment: I kind of like the quirky-ness of this. It felt real and not manipulated, with a child like view (or toy camera capture). Laughed when I read your notes. :-) |

For The Birdsby BarronessComment: Oh! Is that a birdhouse or a feeder? Can you see the interior of it from inside the house? That would be fun. :-)
I agree with Manic on the widely encompassing view taken in. Even just the two left windows may have had more impact? The distant view makes it feel like this could be a neighbors house, or a house you might walk by on the sidewalk. A little impersonal, like how one might approach a homeless person on the street to capture their photo (with a zoom lens rather than engaging too closely). I'm wandering in my thoughts now ... sorry. :-} |
