I don't know why, but this felt more like a counter area than a window sill. Perhaps the commercial aspect of it? Congrats however, on the high finish in the challenge.

I kind of like the quirky-ness of this. It felt real and not manipulated, with a child like view (or toy camera capture). Laughed when I read your notes. :-)

Oh! Is that a birdhouse or a feeder? Can you see the interior of it from inside the house? That would be fun. :-)

I agree with Manic on the widely encompassing view taken in. Even just the two left windows may have had more impact? The distant view makes it feel like this could be a neighbors house, or a house you might walk by on the sidewalk. A little impersonal, like how one might approach a homeless person on the street to capture their photo (with a zoom lens rather than engaging too closely). I'm wandering in my thoughts now ... sorry. :-}
