I think I would have liked to see the actual seal more vertical such that I can actually appreciate the design. Not sure how you do it however. Let's see if more comments come in with this idea...

Not too bad of a photo but not being able to see his eyes is very disconcerting to me. Also it seems like the background is just too busy, thereby adding to my uneasyness.

Even though it's out of focus, the sheel is so large that I feel like I have to look over it to see the subject. Instead of complimenting the picture, it dominates it.
