The processing makes the image look like a painting (which may be what you wanted to achieve). Unforetunately, it does not work for me. You have what appears to be nicely capture nature shot and a well focused sharp image mahy have given it a National Geographic feel. Sorry. Good Luck. 3.

I am sorry, but I do not like this image. Very grainy, and the pro cessing doesn't appeal to me. My focus is drawn to the detail on the wall rather then the blur of the horse and cart. The person standing directly behind the horse is also distracting. Good Luck. 3.

Great compistion, cropping, expression and like the conversion to B&W (light serpia feel). The downfall IMO is that the foucs is a little too soft for my liking and may impact the outcome. Regardless, this is a good capture and a nice image to always reflect on. Good Luck. 6.

Image is a little dull and grainy. Composition is nothing special with standard middle of the image result. I would have cropped to have less water and more sky. DPCers seem to get excited about sky's that are dynamic and full of cloulds and blue sky and with the clear day and bleaching near the top this may not score very high. Sorry. Good Luck. 3.

Hand Fed

Not a great entry for the "Best of" challenge. The direct flash doesn't work here nor does the composition. My family does a lot of camping in Central Ontario and one of the highlights for the kids is feeding the chipmunks. When capturing those images, I like to use a narrow DoF as well as include the expression of the kids as the chipmunk takes the peanut (or whatever) from their hand.

The image is well focused, but unforetunately, I do not see this scoring very well. Sorry. Good Luck. 3.
