Hands Up!by ButterflyGirlComment: Nice and creative...Well done. Image is nice and crisp and great detail on the eye. There are some hot spots on the body but tough not to happen in direct sunlight. Good Luck. 7. |

Badlands National Parkby NstiG8trComment: One of the better landscapes with respect to focus. Thank you for not destroying the image with overprocessing. Nice use of thirds betwen the sky, mountains and field. Good Luck. 7. |

Sunset Stroll on a Wintry Beachby glad2badadComment: Understand that you probably included the fence to convey the winter feel and isolation of a closed beach...unforetunately it ruins a nicely captured image IMO. As for the burning in the sky...don't mind the bottom half, but that one dark patch above the main clouds is too distracting. Great potential. Good Luck. 6. |

Mean ruzby Aurel78Comment: Like the overprocessing (which looks like it was done on purpose, compared to other images that have ruined their result). Great use of thirds and mythical feel. Well Done. Good Luck. 8. |

Wingsby Wenders11Comment: Good idea...would have done completely in B&W. Also it would have been a little better if the subject was right at the crescent of the hill so you got more fullness of the head and maybe a little peak of light between his back and head (underneath his neck). Still a decent image. Good Luck. 7. |

Horseshoe Bend , Arizonaby TLL061Comment: Great perspective. I would have still cut out 1/2 of the sky you have in the image and tweaked some shadows. Good Luck. 6. |

Old Blue Eyesby acoppolaComment: The one drawback to me unforetunately is the Blue Eyes. You have captured a beautiful image and if it was her eyes you wanted to capture then you should have left it in colour and tweaked the blues. I personally would have done the B&W and tried to punch up the contrast a little more. Good Luck. 7. |

Sunset over Queensgateby SoulMan1978Comment: Thanks for using thirds with the horizon...way to many images with the horizon across the middle. Nice colours and sky. Image is too blurry for DPCers. Did you use a tripod? If not, then recomend you invest in one as it will dramtically improve these shots. If you did, then you may want to get a remote (if availible) so you aren't touching the shutter on the camera. Good Luck. 5. |
