I presume the background has been re-colored in post-precess -- to very good effect I might say. What about the hair though? Lighting on the model may be a ltitle too harsh -- Oh! "Glamour. Well fair enough :) (favourites) Very nice.

Very intersting lighting. What did you use? A small desk lamp perhaps? Was the overall image darkened somewhat in PS? Or was the ring of shadow added in PS also? Whatever the case... there's something about the center-point of the light "source" that really works for me here. The gradient fade is just right too. Thanks. I'll try to replicate it :)

The narrow depth of field here would have really worked well, softening the pumpkins and ground features to highlight the subject.. What a shame the focus falls to the fore of the main subject. 6. Good luck!

After taking about a zillion mountain shots I finally decided they just never work in portrait for some reason -- even though you'd think it would highlight the height. Then I realised it was about the amount of sky above the peak. Too much sky makes the mountain look much lower than it is. (IMO) 5 and good luck!

The human/parental pride is powerful in this shit, but I feel a tighter crop to remove more of the bottom and right would help a lot. Also, on my screen, the chest and baby's head are very dark. cropping out the blanket and shirt more would have allowed brightening the middle and upper areas. I'm sure there were more important things on your mind at the time though :)
