Gift Wrappedby sherpetComment: Excellent pic. You've really started moving out of the box with this one... I like the colors, including the background. The brightness may be distracting to some, but I feel that it is a strong element that is appropriate given the context.
The only nitpick that I have is that there is strange coloring in the fingers... Like someone was playing with blue paint or something... |

Minneapolis Skyline (HDR)by SamDoe1Comment: The biggest problem with this is that your lights are actually blown. Sadly, this is due to the lower dynamic range of a tiny sensor which resides in your digicam. HDR processing is much more effective when the RAW actually contains a lot more information. |

coffee cup ~ toilet paperby hannekeComment: Needs a hair more DOF IMHO, but an excellent pic nonetheless. Another one that really stands out due to great visual theming. |

A Farewell to Armsby RKTComment: Very well done. Excellent use of contrasting tonality and composition. I agree that this should have placed higher... Definitely a standout shot. Message edited by author 2006-10-09 09:06:20. |

Tacy.jpgby dassilemComment: Easily the best of the bunch. When you get everything else right, you always find something more to work on.... Well I do anyhow...
Feels a bit soft to me and also - like the others - a bit too cool, particularly in the skin tones. |
